Brief Description

Before raising the vehicle, two holes must be made in the luggage compartment. The >>factory<< has marked the locations where the holes must be drilled.

Then the corrosion protection must be replicated using the materials specified by the manufacturer. Refer to the appropriate Paint Repair Information.

The stabilizer bar and the rear springs are removed and the drive axles are removed from the final drive. Electrical connections and vent lines are disconnected from the final drive.

The >>rear section<< of the exhaust system is removed and the driveshaft is separated from the final drive.

The final drive is lowered with the transmission jack in the direction of travel >>downward<< at an angle.
