1 - Counter Support (Kukko 22/1):VAS 251 621

2 - Internal Puller (Kukko 21-1):VAS 251 601

-- Break a piece out of the bonded rubber bushing collar -arrow- so that the Counter-Support can be positioned.

-- Insert the Internal Puller in the joint of the upper and lower bonded rubber bushing and tension.

If only the bonded rubber bushing needs to be replaced, it can also be pulled out with the Counter Support (Kukko 22/1):VAS 251 621 and the Internal Puller (Kukko 21/1):VAS 251 601 . Refer to Fig 3.

-- Place a washer with a 15 mm inner diameter and a minimum 27 mm outer diameter on the Bearing Installer - Component:3346/2 before it is installed.

-- Seal off both vent pipes to prevent oil from leaking out of the final drive in the following step.

-- Place the final drive on the work bench with the upper section facing down and remove the bonded rubber bushing.

-- Brake off a piece of the bonded rubber bushing collar -arrow- to attach the Counter Support.

-- Insert the Internal Puller in the joint of the upper and lower bonded rubber bushing and tension.

The upper rear and lower front bonded rubber bushings vary in height.

Final drive in its installation position.

"Upper Rear" and "Lower Front" Bonded Rubber Bushing Installation Position:

The "upper rear" bonded rubber bushings OVERVIEW - SUBFRAME MOUNT, FINAL DRIVE 0CQ AND 0BR are positioned with the pins -A- facing up.
The "lower front" bonded rubber bushings OVERVIEW - SUBFRAME MOUNT, FINAL DRIVE 0CQ AND 0BR are positioned with the pins -A- facing down.

Installation of the stop washer -2-

-- Insert the pins -1- into the stop washer holes -arrows-.

The stop washer -2- is permanently connected to the bonded rubber bushing.
