All-Wheel Drive Control Module -J492-, REMOVING AND INSTALLING, GENERATION VI: Installing

-- Install in the reverse order of removal while noting the following:

-- Coat the seals -1- and -2- lightly with oil for the all-wheel drive clutch and place it in the grooves of the All-Wheel Drive Control Module -J492-.

-- Insert the All-Wheel Drive Control Module -J492- in the all-wheel drive clutch housing and push in all the way.

-- Tighten the bolts -arrows-.

-- Connect the connector -1-.

-- Fill the all-wheel drive clutch with oil and check the oil level. Refer to ALL-WHEEL DRIVE CLUTCH OIL, DRAINING AND FILLING .

-- Connect the Vehicle Diagnostic Tester, to the vehicle and start the Diagnosis  .

-- Follow the instructions in the Vehicle Diagnostic Tester.
