Rear Lid, Removing And Installing, ARTEON Shooting Brake: Installing

-- Install the rear lid -1- with a second technician.
-- Install the left drive unit -7- (refer to Rear Lid Drive Unit -VX69-, REMOVING AND INSTALLING, ARTEON SHOOTING BRAKE ) and the right gas-filled strut -7- (refer to COVERED GAS-FILLED STRUT, REMOVING AND INSTALLING, ARTEON SHOOTING BRAKE ).
-- Thread the wires -2, 3, 4 and 5- in the engine compartment lid and install the rubber grommet.
-- Connect the connectors for any electrical components present.
Perform the rest of the installation in the reverse order of removal.
-- Perform a function test on the unlocking components before closing the rear lid.
-- Adjust the rear lid. Refer to REAR LID, ADJUSTING .
