Overview - Rear Lid, ARTEON Shooting Brake

  1. Rear Lid
  2. Stop Buffer
    • Left and right
    • Adjusting
  3. Bolt
    • Quantity: 1 on each side
    • 8 Nm
  4. Ball Stud
    • On the rear lid
    • Replace after removal.
    • Left and right
    • New ball stud is not painted.
    • Grind down the ball stud contact surface on the rear lid to bare metal before installing.
    • Create the ball stud and rear lid paint structure after installing according to the procedure "paint".
    • 20 Nm + 90°
  5. Covered Gas-Filled Strut
    • Check for secure fit after each removal and installation
  6. Bracket
    • For the ball stud
    • Left and right
  7. Bolt
    • Quantity: 2 on each side
    • 10 Nm + 90°
      NOTE:

      The bolts are micro encapsulated and must be replaced after each removal.

  8. Seal
  9. Nut
    • Quantity: 2
    • 20 Nm
  10. Striker
  11. Bolt
    • Quantity: 1 on each side
    • 8 Nm
  12. Counterholder
    • For stop buffer
  13. Bolt
    • Quantity: 2
    • 8 Nm
  14. Latch
  15. Closing Assist
  16. Gas-Filled Strut/Rear Lid Drive Motor
  17. Bolts
    • Quantity: 3
    • 4 Nm
  18. Actuator
  19. Adjusting Buffer
