Right Latch, Removing And Installing: Removing

NOTE:
The bolts -2- must be replaced if they are removed.
The microswitch is not replaced separately.
-- Loosen the bumper at the three bolts for the fender, but do not remove the bumper. Refer to BUMPER COVER, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
-- Remove the headlamp bolts, but do not remove the headlamp. Refer to the appropriate Service Information .
-- Disconnect the hood contact switch connector -7-.
-- Push the headlamp slightly to the side.
-- Remove the bolts -2- from the lock carrier and remove the latch -1- upward slightly -arrow a-.
-- Unclip the release cable -3 and 4- from the latch -arrow b-.
-- Disengage the release cable -3 and 4- on the latch -1- -arrow c-.
-- Remove the latch -1- completely from the lock carrier -arrow a-.
