Refrigerant Circuit Pressure Sensor -G805-, Removing And Installing: Removing

Immediately seal off any open lines and connections with clean plugs from the Engine Bung Set :VAS 6122  .

-- Loosen the coolant expansion tank and move to the side. Refer to COOLANT EXPANSION TANK, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Disconnect the connector -1-.

-- Check the refrigerant line connection and the Refrigerant Circuit Pressure Sensor -G805- -2- for dirt and clean them.

CAUTION:

Danger of frostbite due to refrigerant coming out under pressure.

Frostbite on the skin and other parts of the body is possible.

- Wear safety gloves.

- Wear protective eyewear.

- If refrigerant flows out of the refrigerant line longer than one second when loosening the pressure sensor, tighten the pressure sensor and replace the faulty check valve.

- Evacuate or drain refrigerant and open the refrigerant circuit immediately.

-- Remove the sensor -2- using the Socket - 24mm :T40284  .
