A/C Pressure/Temperature Sensor G395, Removing And Installing: Removing

Immediately seal off any open lines and connections with clean plugs from the Engine Bung Set :VAS 6122  .

-- Refer to REFRIGERANT CIRCUIT, DISCHARGING .

-- Loosen the coolant expansion tank and move to the side. Refer to COOLANT EXPANSION TANK, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Disconnect the connector -1-.

-- Check the refrigerant line connection -4- and A/C Pressure/Temperature Sensor -G395- -2- for dirt and clean them.

CAUTION:

Danger of frostbite due to refrigerant coming out under pressure.

Frostbite on the skin and other parts of the body is possible.

- Wear safety gloves.

- Wear protective eyewear.

- Evacuate or drain refrigerant and open the refrigerant circuit immediately.

- If more than 10 minutes have elapsed since evacuating or draining the refrigerant and the refrigerant circuit was not opened, evacuate or drain the refrigerant again. Pressure develops in the refrigerant circuit due to evaporation.

-- Remove the sensor -2- using the Socket - 24mm :T40284  , at the same time counterhold at the refrigerant line -4- with a open end wrench.
