Heating Element (PTC) 3 -Z132-, Removing And Installing: Installing

Install in the reverse order of removal while noting the following:

Conditions

-- Clean dirty attachment points for the potential equalization cable. Refer to the appropriate service information .

-- Connect the potential equalization cable -2- and tighten the nut -3-.

-- Attach the connectors -4- and -6-.

Fill the cooling system using the Cooling System Service Machine - TEXA :VAS 531 011  .

-- Refer to COOLING SYSTEM, FILLING .

Fill the cooling system using the Cooling System Charge Kit :VAS 6096  .

-- Refer to COOLING SYSTEM, FILLING .

Continuation for all vehicles

CAUTION:

There is a risk of fatal injury due to high voltage.

Electrocution by direct contact or electric arc can cause severe bodily injury or fatal injury.

- Have a high-voltage technician or a high-voltage expert bring the high-voltage system back into service.
