Turbocharger, Removing And Installing: Removing

-- Refer to DRAIN THE COOLANT .

-- Remove the battery tray. Refer to BATTERY TRAY, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Remove the oil supply line. Refer to [For engine(s) DSFB] Oil Supply Line, Removing and Installing .

-- Remove the oil return line. Refer to TURBOCHARGER OIL RETURN LINE, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Remove the left air duct pipe. Refer to Left Air Duct Pipe, Removing and Installing .

-- Remove the Turbocharger Recirculation Valve -N249-. Refer to TURBOCHARGER RECIRCULATING VALVE N249, REMOVING AND INSTALLING, DNPA, DNNA, DNND AND DRNA .

-- Remove the cylinder 2 through 4 ignition coils. Refer to IGNITION COIL WITH POWER OUTPUT STAGE, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Disconnect the connectors -arrows-.

-- Disconnect the connectors -1 through 4-.

-- Free up the wiring harness and move it to the side.

-- Remove the upper coolant pipe. Refer to [For engine(s) DSFB] Upper Coolant Pipe, Removing and Installing .

-- Remove the cylinder 2 through 4 cam actuators. Refer to [For engine(s) DSFB] Cam Actuator, Removing and Installing .

-- Loosen clamps -1 and 2- and disconnect the coolant hoses.

CAUTION:

Risk of damaging the coolant pipes through deformation.

- Do not change the shape of the coolant pipes.

-- Remove the bolts -arrows- and move the coolant pipe to the side.

-- Remove the bolt -2-.

-- Turn the turbocharger connection -1- in direction of -arrow- and remove.

-- Loosen the clamp -arrow-.

-- Remove the charge air hose.

-- Loosen the clamps -2- and remove the hoses.

-- Remove the bolt -1-.

-- Disconnect the connector -1-.

-- Remove the bolts -arrows- and remove the Particulate Filter Differential Pressure Sensor -G1037- with the bracket.

-- Remove the bolts -arrows-.

-- Press the releases -1- on both sides and remove the venturi injector.

-- Remove the bolt -top arrow-.

-- Remove the coolant line -1-.

-- Disconnect the connector -arrow-.

-- Pry out the locking plates -1 and 2-.
