Loosen the Clamp

-- Loosen the clamp -1- far enough to remove the charge air hose.

Requirement

• The clamp -1- with hooks -arrows- may not be removed from the charge air hose.
• If a clamp -1- with hook -arrows- was removed from the charge air hose then the charge air hose must be replaced.

Tighten the Clamp

A loosened clamp can be reused, for this, spray the screw with commercially available rust removers.

Requirement

• The hose connections, air duct pipes and charge air hoses must be clean and free of lubricants.
