Front Catalytic Converter/Exhaust Pipe Bracket, Removing And Installing: Installing

Install in the reverse order of removal while noting the following:

Vehicles with Lock Washers

-- Make sure that the pop rivet fits into the catalytic converter mounts.

CAUTION:

Risk of injury due to flying metal shavings.

Irritation and injury to skin and eyes possible.

- Wear protective eyewear.

- Wear safety gloves.

-- Drill out the mount using a commercially available drill to a diameter of 7 mm.

-- Attach the bracket for the catalytic converter/front exhaust pipe -1-.

-- Align the lock washers -3- parallel to the rubber bushings -2- and rivet using a commercially available pop rivet pliers.
