Bearing Bracket, Removing And Installing: Removing

-- Remove the upper timing chain cover. Refer to Upper Timing Chain Cover, Removing and Installing .

Tip

The control valves have left-hand thread.

-- Remove the left control valve and right control valve using the Assembly Tool:T10352/2 -1- in the direction of -arrow-.

-- Counterhold the vibration damper crankshaft -1- with the Wrench - 21mm:T40263 -A-, Adapter:T40314 -B- and commercially available 4 mm wrench -C-.

-- Remove the bolts -1 through 6-.

-- Carefully remove the bearing bracket.

-- Pay attention that the bearing bracket is not tilted.
