-- Remove the clutch. Refer to CLUTCH END COVER, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Install the Flywheel Retainer:3067 -A- in position -3-.

CAUTION:

Risk of destroying the flywheel due to improper loosening.

- Never remove the bolts with an air or impact wrench.

- When removing the bolts, make sure that the bolt head does not come in contact with the flywheel.

-- Loosen the bolts -2- in a diagonal sequence.

-- Remove the bolts -2- by hand and then remove the flywheel -1-.

CAUTION:

Oil leakage due to contaminated threaded holes of the crankshaft.

- Clean the threaded holes in the crankshaft from adhesive residue of the locking fluid.

- Make sure the shaft seal does not get damaged during the cleaning process.

-- Clean the crankshaft flange, until all adhesive residue and locking fluid are removed.

-- Vacuum off loosened adhesive residue of the locking fluid using a commercially available shop vacuum.

-- Clean one removed bolt of the flywheel from all adhesive residue using a commercially available wire brush.
