Ribbed Belt, Removing And Installing: Installing

Install in the reverse order of removal while noting the following:

-- Refer to RIBBED BELT, CHECKING CONDITION .

-- Place the ribbed belts in sequence.

  1. Vibration Damper
  2. Ribbed Belt Tensioner
  3. Generator -C-
  4. A/C Compressor with Magnetic Clutch and Regulator Valve -VX81-

-- Tension the ribbed belt tensioner -1- in direction of -arrow- and remove the Locking Pin:T10060A  -A-.

-- Make sure the ribbed belt -3- is routed correctly.

-- Take away tension from the ribbed belt tensioner -1- in resting position.

-- Start the engine and check whether the ribbed belt -3- runs correctly.
