Crankshaft Needle Bearing, Replacing: Installing

-- Clean the bearing seat in the crankshaft and apply a thin coat of grease.

-- Attach the needle bearing -1- with the Bearing Installer - Bearing Press Piece:VW207C -A- in direction of -the arrow- to the crankshaft -2-.

-- Insert the needle bearing to the installation depth -a-.

Requirement

Dimension -a- = 2.0 mm

Tip

If the needle bearing is unintentionally pushed in to deeply, it must be replaced, because it will be damaged when it is removed again.
