Balance Shaft Gasket, Replacing, Intake Side: Removing

-- Remove the coolant pump toothed belt. Refer to Coolant Pump Toothed Belt, Removing and Installing .

-- Remove the bolt -2-, at the same time pay attention to the direction of rotation.

Requirement

The bolt -2- has left-hand threads.

-- Remove the drive wheel -1-.

-- Firmly press the screwdriver -1- in direction of -arrow A- to the surface of the intake side balance shaft seal -2-.

-- Pry out the intake side balance shaft seal -2- in direction of -arrow B-.

-- Clean the sealing surfaces.
