Center Console Switch Module 1 -EX23- /Center Console Switch Module 2 -EX30-, REMOVING AND INSTALLING: Removing

-- Switch off the ignition and all electrical equipment.

-- Place the ignition key and other drive authorization systems outside of the vehicle interior, to avoid an unintentional start of the vehicle.

-- Unclip the shift lever boot upward out of the center console. Refer to the appropriate Service Information .

-- Pry out the trim -1- using the Removal Wedge Set:VAS895015  .

-- Pry out the center console switch module -1 and 2- using the Removal Wedge Set:VAS895015  .

-- Disconnect the connector.

-- Remove the Center Console Switch Module -1 and 2-.

If the driver side button module can not be removed as described, then:

-- Remove the center console insert. Refer to CENTER CONSOLE INSERT, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Unclip the Center Console Switch Module from the underside of the center console insert.
