-- Remove the rear bumper cover. Refer to BUMPER COVER, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Disconnect the connectors -3-.
-- Release the locking tab on the bracket -2- in the direction of the -arrow A-.
-- Pivot the Power Rear Lid Opening Control Module -J938- -1- out of the bracket -2- in the direction of the -arrow B-.
