Vehicles With Tire Pressure Monitoring System

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2023 Volkswagen Arteon. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.

The EU regulation (No. 661/2009) requires that all new vehicles must have a tire pressure monitoring system starting 11/01/2014. There are two different systems to be used. The difference is between the indirect measuring "tire pressure monitoring display" system and the direct measuring "tire pressure monitoring system". Refer to TIRE PRESSURE MONITORING SYSTEM .
