Output Flange, Removing And Installing, 0FN: Installing

-- Apply the O-ring -arrow- on the shaft.

-- Coat the outer circumference of the new shaft seal -1- with transmission fluid.

-- Use the Seal Installer - Side Shaft:T40121  to drive the seal all the way in.

-- Fill the space between the sealing/dust lip halfway with Sealing Grease:G 052 128 A1  .

-- Drive in the output flange -A- carefully using a plastic mallet on the shaft.

-- Install the washer -A-.

-- Secure the output flange using the circlip -B-.

-- Install the bevel box. Refer to BEVEL BOX, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Fill the gear oil. Refer to GEAR OIL, DRAINING AND FILLING .
