Adapter For Assembling Flushing Circuit: Notes

The following table lists the various adapters that are necessary to connect the A/C Service Station to the refrigerant circuit for the flushing procedure.
The adapters from the VW/Audi - Passenger Vehicle Adapter Set have 5/8" -18 UNF threads, so that the filling hoses from the R1234yf A/C Service Station can be connected (M12 x 1.5-6G thread according to SAE J639). Additional adapters from the set may be used (for example, the Refrigerant Circuit Adapter Set - Adapter :VAS6338/48 ).
If a flushed refrigerant circuit is not reassembled immediately after the flushing procedure, then the adapters must be left on the connections and seal the components that are still open with clean plugs from the Engine Bung Set :VAS6122 .
