Spark Plugs, Replacing, 2.0L TSI-Engines (Engine Code: DNFE, DNFF, DNFG, DNNA): Removing

-- Remove the engine cover. Refer to ENGINE COVER "Top", REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Remove the connector -2- for the Oxygen Sensor 1 Before Catalytic Converter -GX10- from the bracket and disconnect.

-- Remove the nut -2- and free up the ground wire -1-.

-- Release the connectors and remove them from the ignition coils -arrows- at the same time.

-- Insert the Puller:T10530 into the ignition coil opening -1-.

-- Turn the knurled nut -2- clockwise -arrow- until the puller is clamped.

-- Using the Puller:T10530 , remove the ignition coils carefully upright -arrow-.

Repeat the procedure for all ignition coils with power output stage.

NOTE:

Note the installed position of ignition coils with power output stages.

Make sure to not kink or damage the lines.

-- Remove the spark plugs using the Spark Plug Removal Tool:3122 B .
