Led Headlamps With Adaptive Front Lighting System, Adjusting

NOTE:

Adjusting the headlamps is invoiced separately.

A vehicle with LED headlamps and Adaptive Front Lighting system can be identified with the PR number 8IU. 8IU.

-- Perform the headlamp range control basic setting. Refer to VEHICLE DIAGNOSTIC TESTER, CONNECTING .

Left Headlamp, Adjusting

  1. Lateral adjustment
  2. Height adjustment

-- Turn the adjusting screw for height adjustment -2- until the correct setting is achieved.

-- Turn the adjustment screw for lateral adjustment -1- until the correct setting is achieved. The side adjustment is sealed for SAE headlamps.

Left Headlamp, Re-Checking

NOTE:

The headlamp is re-checked using the low beam test diagram.

The headlamp lateral adjustment may no longer be adjusted during the check. Re-adjusting the height is permitted.

-- Check the headlamp adjustment.

-- If necessary, re-adjust the headlamp height adjustment.

-- After the headlamps are adjusted, the dynamic cornering light must be reactivated. Refer to Adaptive Front Lighting System, Deactivating in Infotainment System .

NOTE:

The right headlamp is adjusted in the same order.

The adjusting screws for the right headlamp are a mirror image.
