Assembly Instructions

- Warm the name badges or emblem before removing using a Wiring Harness Repair Set - Hot Air Blower:VAS 1978/14A .
- If a name badge or emblem is removed and installed, the Adhesive Remover is also used to remove the adhesive residue, at the same time pay attention to the flash-off time of 3 minutes for the adhesive remover.
- If necessary, remove any adhesive residue left by the tape using Adhesive Strip Remover:VAS 6349 .
- Pay attention that the adhesive surfaces are free of dust and grease and are dry.
- The temperature from the vehicle, work station and component must be the same. The processing temperature is minimum 20 °C (68 °F) and maximum 35 °C (95 °F).
- Clean the adhesive surface with cleaning solution and a lint-free cleaning cloth, and then let dry for 10 minutes.
- Attach the name badges or emblems immediately after cleaning and drying.
- Only remove the protective film right before assembly.
- It is not possible to remove the bonded name badges or emblems without damaging them.
- Maintain the minimum curing time at processing temperature for 60 minutes.
