Engine Temperature Control Actuator N493, Removing And Installing: Removing

-- Remove the engine cover. Refer to ENGINE COVER, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Refer to DRAIN THE COOLANT  .

-- Remove the Throttle Valve Control Module -GX3-. Refer to the appropriate Service Information .

-- Loosen the clamp -3- and remove the coolant hose.

-- Remove the bolts -arrows-.

-- Lift the clamp -2- and push the front coolant pipe to the side.

-- Remove the coolant pump. Refer to Coolant Pump, Removing and Installing  .

-- Lift the clamps -1 and 2-, then remove the coolant hoses.

-- Disconnect the connector -6-.

-- Remove the bolts -1 through 5-.

-- Take off the Engine Temperature Control Actuator -N493- -7- from the alignment pins and remove.
