Engine Coolant Temperature Sensor G62, Removing And Installing: Removing

CAUTION:
The cooling system may be under pressure. There is a risk of scalding due to hot steam and hot coolant.
Scalding the skin and other parts of the body is possible.
- Wear safety gloves.
- Wear protective eyewear.
- Reduce the pressure by covering the coolant expansion tank cap with a suitable towel and carefully opening it.
-- Open the coolant expansion tank cap -arrow-.
-- Remove the air filter housing. Refer to Air Filter Housing, Removing and Installing .
-- Disconnect the connector -1-.
-- Place a cleaning cloth underneath, to catch cleaning coolant leaking out.
-- Remove the bolts -2- and remove the Engine Coolant Temperature Sensor - G62- -3-.
Requirement
- Immediately insert the new Engine/Motor Coolant Temperature Sensor -G62- -2-, so that as little as possible coolant leaks.
