Coolant Pump Toothed Belt, Removing And Installing: Removing

-- Remove the left air duct pipe. Refer to Left Air Duct Pipe, Removing and Installing .

-- Remove the fan shroud. Refer to Fan Shroud, Removing and Installing .

-- Remove the Oil Pressure Switch, Level 2 -F446-. Refer to OIL PRESSURE SWITCH, LEVEL 2 F446, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Counterhold the vibration damper crankshaft -1- with the Wrench - 21mm:T40263 -A-, Adapter:T40314 -B- and 4 mm wrench -C-.

-- Remove the bolts in direction of -arrows-.

-- Disconnect the connector -1-.

-- Remove the toothed belt guard.

-- Loosen the bolt -1- using a commercially available torque wrench -B- and Torque Wrench 1331 Insert - Ring Wrench - 12mm:T10360 -A- in direction of -arrow- and remove by 3 turns.

Tip

The drive gear bolt has a left-hand thread.

CAUTION:

Risk of destroying a used toothed belt by reversing the running direction.

- Mark the running direction before removal.

- Pay attention to the running direction when reinstalling.

- Do not kink the toothed belt.

-- Remove the toothed belt -2-.
