Evaporator, Removing And Installing: Removing

-- Remove the heater and A/C unit. Refer to HEATER AND A/C UNIT, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Remove the bolts -1-.

-- Release the mounting tabs -4 and 5- in direction of -arrows-.

-- Remove the evaporator housing upper section -3- from the lower section -2-.

-- Remove the evaporator -1- from the evaporator housing lower section.

-- Remove the seal/insulation -2-.

-- Remove the expansion valve. Refer to EXPANSION VALVE, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Remove the retaining plate for the refrigerant lines.
