Evaporator, Removing And Installing: Installing

Install in reverse order of removal and note the following:

-- If an expansion valve is not installed on the new evaporator, then transfer the expansion valve from the old evaporator. Refer to EXPANSION VALVE, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- If the evaporator has been replaced, 10cm 3 refrigerant oil must be filled into the refrigerant circuit. Refer to TECHNICAL DATA .

NOTE:

The smallest leaks at the groove/spring joint between the upper and lower sections of the evaporator housing can lead to whistling noises due to escaping air. Lightly coat the connection points with silicone grease, for example. Silicone grease. Refer to the Parts Information.

Before inserting the evaporator, check the condensation water drain and clean the drain if necessary.

Before inserting, clean the evaporator housing and the evaporator, if necessary.
