Belt Pulley, Removing And Installing, DENSO A/C Compressor: Removing

-- Remove the ribbed belt. Refer to RIBBED BELT, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Remove the cap -1-.

-- Remove the bolts -arrows- by counterholding the belt pulley with an oil filter band wrench.

-- Remove the nut -2- and counterhold on the A/C compressor input shaft -1-.

-- Remove the drive plate -3- with the nut.

NOTE:

The drive plate threaded connection applies the tightening torque of the A/C compressor drive to the A/C compressor shaft.

-- Remove the circlip -2-.
