Overview - Brake Caliper, Pc57 And C60

- Install the entire repair kit when servicing.
- Only use mineral spirits to clean the brakes.
- Apply a thin coat of Assembly Paste G 052 150 A2 to brake cylinders, pistons and seals.
- Brake Caliper
- Removing and Installing. Refer to BRAKE CALIPER, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
- Hex Bolt
- Replace after removing.
- 35 Nm
- Breather Valve
- Before installing lightly grease the threads. Refer to the appropriate Electronic Parts Information for the allocation.
- 10 Nm
- Dust Cap
- Install onto breather valve.
- Seal
- Permanent and cannot be replaced separately
- Banjo Bolt
- Cannot be replaced separately
- 35 Nm
- Brake Hose
- With ring connection, banjo bolt and seal
- Make sure it is in the installation position
- Brake Pads
- Removing and Installing. Refer to BRAKE PADS, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
- Guide Pin
- Protective Cap
- Grease the groove with the grease that comes with the repair kit and insert in the brake carrier and the guide pin.
- Brake Carrier
- Is assembled with the guide pins and caps as well as with sufficient grease on the guide pins as a replacement part.
- Install the repair kit if the caps or guide pins are damaged. Use grease packet supplied to lubricate guide pins.
- Not Equipped
- Protective Cap
- Removing and Installing. Refer to BRAKE CALIPER PISTON, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
- When inserting the piston, do not damage the protective cap.
- Piston
- Removing and Installing. Refer to BRAKE CALIPER PISTON, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
- Before installing, thinly coat the piston with Assembly Paste -G 052 150 A2-.
- Seal
- Removing and Installing. Refer to BRAKE CALIPER PISTON, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
