Charge Air Cooler, Removing And Installing: Removing

-- Remove the right and left headlamps. Refer to HEADLAMP, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Open the hose clamps -arrows- and remove the charge air hose -1- and -2-.

-- Remove the radiator. Refer to RADIATOR, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Disconnect the connector -3-.

-- Remove the bolts -arrows- and the center guide -1-.

-- Remove the left and right air ducts -1- from the lock carrier -2-.

-- Remove the impact member. Refer to OVERVIEW - IMPACT MEMBER .

-- Remove the transmission fluid cooler -1- from the condenser. The hoses -2- remain connected.

-- Push the catches -1- on both sides in the direction of the -arrow A- and release.

-- Pull the condenser -3- in the direction of the -arrow B- upward and disengage from the radiator -2-.

-- Secure the condenser to the lock carrier.

-- Remove the bolts -arrows- for the left and right radiator mount -1-.

-- Pry the charge air cooler out of the bearing and remove downward.
