Rear Lid, Removing And Installing: Installing

-- Install the rear lid -1- with a second technician.
-- Install the gas-filled struts -7-. Refer to GAS-FILLED STRUT, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
-- Thread the wires -2, 3, 4 and 5- in the engine compartment lid and install the rubber grommet.
-- Connect the connectors for any electrical components present.
Perform the rest of the installation in the reverse order of removal.
-- Perform a function test on the unlocking components before closing the rear lid.
-- Adjust the rear lid. Refer to REAR LID, ADJUSTING .
