Latch, Removing And Installing, From 03/01/2020: Installing

Install in reverse order of removal.

NOTE:

Replace the bolts -2- after removing.

-- Engage and clip in the release cables -3 and 5- at the latch.

-- Guide the latch -1- into the lock carrier.

-- Connect the engine hood contact switch connector -4-.

-- Install the new bolts -2-.

-- Adjust the synchronous movement of the latches at the threads -8-.

-- Before closing the hood, perform a function test of the hood release lever and the release cable.

-- Adjust the latch. Refer to Latch, Adjusting .
