Fuel Filler Door Unit, Removing And Installing: Removing

-- Remove the fuel filler cap.

NOTE:

The removal and installation of the fuel filler door unit on vehicles with filler neck for reducing agent is different then the procedure shown here.

-- Pierce the fuel filler door unit at the marked positions -2- in direction of -a arrows- with the Radio Removal Tool:T10057 -4-.

-- Guide the Radio Removal Tool:T10057 -4- through these openings -2- up to the notch.

The hooks -3- are released in direction of -arrow b-.

-- Fold back the fuel filler neck rubber grommet.

-- Tilt the fuel filler door unit -1- out of the side panel in direction of -arrow b-.

-- Remove the fuel filler door unit -1- rearward in direction of -arrow a-.

-- Guide the water drain hose -4- out of the side panel.
