Bumper Cover, Removing And Installing: Installing

Install in the reverse order of removal while noting the following:

Installation is only possible with a second technician.

-- If equipped, connect the electrical component connections.

-- Guide the bumper cover -1- parallel to the vehicle in direction of -a arrows-.

-- Push the bumper cover -1- on the center guide -9-.

-- Push the bumper cover -1- onto the left and right guides -2- on the side panel until they engage with each other in direction of -arrow b-.

-- Tighten the bolts -5, 6 and 7-.

-- Secure the expanding rivets -8-.

-- Install the wheel covers. Refer to WHEEL COVER, REMOVING AND INSTALLING, REAR .

-- Pay attention to the gap dimensions.
