Bumper Cover, Removing And Installing, Through 03/01/2020: Installing

Install in the reverse order of removal while noting the following:

Installation is only possible with a second technician.

-- If equipped, connect any electrical component connectors.

For notes and procedures regarding the parallel parking assist, refer to the appropriate Service Information .

Steps and notes for the peripheral camera can be found under PERIPHERAL CAMERA, CALIBRATING .

-- If equipped, connect the hose coupling for the washer fluid hoses. Refer to OVERVIEW - WINDSHIELD WASHER SYSTEM .

NOTE:

When positioning the bumper cover, make sure that the front wheel housing liner is seated correctly.

-- Guide the bumper cover -1- parallel to the center guide in direction of -arrow A- until the hook engages.

-- Push the bumper cover -1- onto the left and right guides -2- on the fender in direction of -arrow B- until they engage with each other.

-- Install the bolts -5-.

-- Turn the hook -4- from the wheel arch trim -3- in the bumper cover -1- in direction of -arrow C-.

-- Install the bolts -6 and 7-.

-- Pay attention to the gap dimensions.

-- Install the radiator grille. Refer to RADIATOR GRILLE, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
