Overview - Electric Coolant Pump

Heater Support Pump -V488-, Coolant Shut-Off Valve -N82- and Transmission Coolant Valve -N488-

  1. Heater Support Pump -V488-
    • Removing and Installing. Refer to Heater Support Pump -V488-, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
    • If the pump bracket must be removed, then the catalytic converter must be removed.
    • Tightening specification, pump to bracket: 16 Nm
    • Tightening specification, pump to bracket when using Insert Tool:T10572  and the Torque Wrench:V.A.G 1410  : 9 Nm.
  2. Heat Shield Mat
  3. Bolt
    • To remove, the catalytic converter must be removed
    • 20 Nm
  4. Spring Clamp
  5. Coolant Hose
  6. Spring Clamp
  7. Coolant Hose
  8. Nuts
    • 8 Nm
  9. Spring Clamp
  10. Coolant Shut-Off Valve -N82-
  11. Nuts
    • 8 Nm
  12. Transmission Coolant Valve -N488-
  13. Coolant Hose
  14. Spring Clamp
  15. Bolt
    • 8 Nm
  16. Coolant Hose
  17. Spring Clamp
