Engine Coolant Temperature Sensor on Engine Output -G82-, REMOVING AND INSTALLING: Removing

The engine is cold.

-- Briefly open the coolant expansion tank cap -arrow- and release any residual pressure in the cooling system and then close it again until it locks.

-- Remove the air filter housing. Refer to AIR FILTER HOUSING, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Disconnect the connector -1-.

NOTE:

To prevent a lot of coolant loss, immediately insert the new Engine Coolant Temperature Sensor -- into the connecting pieces.

-- Remove the clamp -2- and remove the Coolant Temperature Sensor -- -3- from the flange.

-- Insert a new Engine Coolant Temperature Sensor -- immediately in the connection.
