Coolant Shut-Off Valve -N82-, REMOVING AND INSTALLING: Removing

CAUTION:

The cooling system may be under pressure. There is a risk of scalding due to hot steam and hot coolant.

Scalding the skin and other parts of the body is possible.

- Wear safety gloves.

- Wear protective eyewear.

- Reduce the pressure by covering the coolant expansion tank cap with a suitable towel and carefully opening it.

-- Briefly open the coolant expansion tank cap -arrow- to reduce the pressure.

-- Remove the air filter housing. Refer to AIR FILTER HOUSING, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Remove the battery tray. Refer to BATTERY TRAY, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Disconnect the connector -1-.

-- Clamp off the coolant hoses on the Transmission Coolant Valve -- with Hose Clamps - Up To 25mm Hose Clamps - Up To 25mm:3094 -arrows-.

NOTE:

Place a cleaning cloth underneath to catch any coolant leaking out.

-- Open the hose clamps on the coolant valve and remove with the coolant hoses.

-- Remove the nuts -2- and the Transmission Coolant Valve --.
