DTC MEMORY FOR ALL SYSTEMS, READING WITH Vehicle Diagnostic Tester AND CORRECTING FAULTS ACCORDING TO REPAIR PROCEDURE

-- Check the DTC memory using the Vehicle Diagnostic Tester Refer to VEHICLE DIAGNOSTIC TESTER, CONNECTING .

-- Correct any faults according to the repair procedure.

Static Errors

If one or more static errors are present in the DTC memory, it is recommended that these errors are corrected using the Guided Fault Finding with the consent of the customer.

Sporadic Errors

If only sporadic faults or information is stored in the DTC memory and the customer does not make a complaint relating to an electronic vehicle system, erase the DTC memory.

NOTE:

In every case, the vehicle must be released to the customer with the DTC memory erased.
