Battery A, Removing And Installing: Removing

-- Remove the brace. Refer to LOCK CARRIER, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Remove the plenum chamber cover. Refer to PLENUM CHAMBER COVER, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Disconnect the battery. Refer to Battery, Disconnecting and Connecting  .

-- Release the hook -3-.

-- Remove the high-voltage connection cover at the vehicle front -2-.

-- Remove the high-voltage connection cover at the vehicle front -1- from the guide.

-- Release the hooks -arrows-.

-- Remove the cover -1-.

-- Remove the nut -2-.

-- Remove the wire -1-.

-- Release the retaining straps for the bracket for fuse panel A -1- in the -direction of the arrow-.

-- Remove the bracket for fuse panel A -1- and move it to the side with the wires still connected.

-- Open the positive terminal battery clamp cover -1-.

-- Loosen the nut -2- several turns and remove the positive terminal battery clamp -1-.

-- Remove the bolt -3-.

-- Remove the bracket -2-.

-- Remove the battery -1- in the direction of travel from the battery tray and lift it upward out of the engine compartment.

Replace the battery

-- Remove the impact protection plate -2- from the battery -1- in the -direction of the arrow-.
