Mounting Bracket, Removing And Installing: Removing

The following information describes the removing and installing on the left side of the vehicle as an example.

-- Remove the Driver Side Rear Door Lock Unit -VX83- /Passenger Side Rear Door Lock Unit -VX84-. Refer to DRIVER/PASSENGER SIDE REAR DOOR LOCK UNIT VX83/VX84, REMOVING AND INSTALLING  .

-- Remove the Left Rear Exterior Door Handle - EX8- /Right Rear Exterior Door Handle - EX9-. Refer to LEFT/RIGHT REAR EXTERIOR DOOR HANDLE EX8/EX9, REMOVING AND INSTALLING  .

-- Remove the wire from the guides -2-.

-- Push the mounting bracket -3- all the way in the direction of -arrow A- and remove it in the direction of -arrow B-.

-- Pivot the release cable -4- in the direction of -arrow A-.

-- Disengage the release cable -4- in the direction of -arrow B-.
