Rear Seat Backrest Cover And Cushion, Removing And Installing: Removing

-- Remove the rear seat backrest. Refer to Rear Seat Backrest, Removing and Installing .

-- Remove the headrest. Refer to Headrest, Removing and Installing .

-- Remove the headrest guide. Refer to Headrest Guide, Removing and Installing .

-- Remove the locking mechanism trim. Refer to Locking Mechanism Trim, Removing and Installing .

-- Loosen the clip -2- from the cover -1- in the area of the inner mounting pin using a commercially available plastic wedge.

Left ¹ /₃ Rear Seat Backrest

-- Starting at the locking mechanism, pry the molding strip -1- out all the way around the backrest frame -3- in the direction of -arrow-.

-- Remove the cover -2- from the cushion.

² /₃ Rear Seat Backrest without Pass-Through

-- Remove the rear seat belt guide. Refer to Rear Seat Belt Guide, Removing and Installing .

-- Starting at the locking mechanism, pry the molding strip -1- out all the way around the backrest frame -3- in the direction of -arrow-.

-- Remove the cover -2- from the cushion.

² /₃ Rear Seat Backrest with Pass-Through

-- Remove the rear seat belt guide. Refer to Rear Seat Belt Guide, Removing and Installing .

-- Remove the pass-through door. Refer to Pass-Through Door, Removing and Installing .

-- Remove the pass-through cover frame. Refer to Pass-Through Cover Frame, Removing and Installing .

-- Starting at the locking mechanism, pry the molding strip -1- out all the way around the backrest frame -4- in the direction of -arrow-.

-- Pry the molding strip -2- out all the way around the pass-through.

-- Remove the cover -3- from the cushion.
