Front Backrest, Removing And Installing: Removing

-- Remove the seat trim panel on the inner side. Refer to Inner Seat Trim Panel, Removing and Installing .

-- Remove the outer seat trim panel. Refer to Outer Seat Trim Panel, Removing and Installing .

-- Disconnect the connector -3-.

-- Unclip the clips -2- from the wires -1- on the seat pan.

-- Guide out the wire -1- to the outer front thorax airbag out of the mesh sleeve.

Driver Seat

-- Guide out the wire to the inner front thorax airbag out of the mesh sleeve.

Continuation for All Vehicles

-- Remove the bolts -1, 2, 3 and 4-.

-- Angle the front backrest -5- forward.

-- Press the seat pan cushion to the side.

-- Remove the wire for the outer front thorax airbag out of the seat pan.

Driver Seat

-- Remove the wire for the inner front thorax airbag out of the seat pan.

-- Remove the front backrest.
