Rear Lid, Removing And Installing: Removing

-- Remove the rear lid upper trim panel. Refer to REAR LID UPPER TRIM PANEL, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Disconnect the connectors -5-.

-- Release and remove the washer fluid hose -2-.

-- Guide the wires and washer fluid hose -2- with rubber grommet -4- out of the rear lid -1-.

-- Loosen the bolts -3-.

Conditions

• The help of a second technician is necessary for the following procedure.

Vehicles with Gas-Filled Strut

-- Remove the gas-filled struts. Refer to Gas-Filled Strut, Removing and Installing  .

Vehicles with Rear Lid Motor 1 - V444- and Rear Lid Motor 2 - V445-

-- Remove the Rear Lid Motor 1 - V444- and Rear Lid Motor 2 - V445-. Refer to the appropriate Service Information .

Continuation for All Vehicles

-- Remove the bolts -2- and the rear lid -1-.
