Power Rear Lid Opening Sensors G750/G760, Removing And Installing: Installing

Install in the reverse order of removal while noting the following:

-- Remove the adhesive residue and clean the adhesive surfaces. Refer to Installation Requirements for Components with Adhesive Tape .

-- Remove the protective film from the adhesive tape.

-- Position the power rear lid opening sensor -1- in the areas marked -2- and press it on.

-- Roll on the power rear lid opening sensor -1- using the Roller:T40400  in the area of the adhesive tape with a force of 65 N.

Conditions

Pay attention to the differing minimum curing time. Refer to Installation Requirements for Components with Adhesive Tape :

• The minimum curing time of 30 min must be met.
