Lower Adjusting Buffer, Adjusting

The procedure shown is for the left side of the vehicle as an example.

-- Remove the striker. Refer to Striker, Removing and Installing  .

-- Turn the adjusting bolt -1- in the direction of -arrow A-.

Tip

At the same time, the height of the adjusting buffer -2- changes in the direction of -arrow B-.

-- Close the rear lid, at the same time pay attention to the correct position of the stop -2- in the side panel -1-.

Conditions

• The rear lid may not be positioned too far inward or outward when closed.

-- Check the adjustment.

-- Install the striker. Refer to Striker, Removing and Installing  .
