Ball Pin, Removing And Installing: Installing

Install in the reverse order of removal while noting the following:

Vehicles with Ball Pin to Rear Lid

-- Grind down the contact surface of the ball pin -2- on the rear lid -3- before installing to bare metal.

Conditions

• Paint design on the ball pin and rear lid must be reproduced according to the instructions after installing. Refer to the appropriate Paint Information.

Vehicles with Ball Pin to Body

-- Grind down the contact surface of the ball pin -2- on the body -3- before installing to bare metal.
